VITICULTURE
The plots from which the Tempranillo and Syrah are obtained are located in the municipalities of Coruña del Conde and Brazacorta, Province of Burgos and are located between 900 and 1,000m altitude. They are sandy clay loam soils of low fertility, which limit their production and growth. The altitude conditions provide an extreme climate and with it a greater thermal inversion in the maturation period, which helps shape the typicity of its aromas and tannins. The varieties and viticultural management help further differentiate these unique typical characteristics.
WINEMAKING
Manual harvest, triple selection to ensure 100% quality grapes. Pre-fermentative maceration at very low temperature. Fermentation with selected autochthonous yeasts in the vineyard itself. Aged for 6 months in 225l French oak barrels.
