VITICULTURE
Innovation in wineries was born with Emilio Moro by planting the Tinto Fino Clone and, with it, differentiating himself forever. Since then, they have not stopped innovating. From the development of native yeasts, digital field notebooks, through drones or geolocation in vineyards, to the star sensorization project, Sensing4Farming.
WINEMAKING
The vegetative cycle of 2018 began marked by extraordinarily rainy months of April and May, which caused a slight delay in sprouting. However, during the summer months, it was below historical values, thus helping to balance the vegetative cycle of the vine. The temperatures were very close to the usual in the area, except in the last stage of maturation where they were positioned above the usual. All this led to optimal levels of maturity and a great balance in the grape. Maximum respect for the terroir. Made from Tempranillo grapes from middle-aged vines. Its fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature, with subsequent aging in French and American oak barrels.
