AROMA
A very interesting red wine. With a wide development in the glass where aromas of spices, nuts and anise predominate.
PALATE
Silky, long and very friendly on the palate. At the beginning we can perceive ripe black fruits followed by toasts. After its evolution in the mouth, we discover its breadth and complexity from its soft tannins to a fresh final sensation with balsamic and leather notes.
VITICULTURE

Rioja Vega is the oldest winery in Rioja. It carries out a careful selection in the vineyard with low yields (5000 kg/ha) and gentle destemming to maintain the qualities of the grape.

WINEMAKING

Alcoholic fermentation for 9 days and Maceration for 7 days. Minimal intervention oenology. 11 Months of aging using 18 new barrels of different shades, with up to 9 different types of origins and toastings.

PAIRS WELL WITH
Aged cheese, mild stews, grilled meat (chicken, pork, beef, game), bolognese pasta.
RECOMMENDATIONS
Recommended serving temperature: 18°C.
