Red and black fruits, especially cherries, chocolate, with undertones of oak and forest floor.
PALATE
Fresh, with nice acidity, fruity mouth, ripe tannins and long finish.
VITICULTURE

Control of the maturation and selection of the best grapes; manual harvest of the grapes in small baskets; quick transfer to the wine cellar.

WINEMAKING

Light destemming and crushing; alcoholic fermentation at controlled temperatures with frequent pump-overs; medium maceration on the skins with constant sampling and chemical analyses to determine the optimal date for racking.

Then the wine is aged in 12 to 54 hectoliter Slavonian and French oak barrels (5-10% barrels) for 1 year, followed by aging for at least 6 months in bottle.

Strong cheese, veal meat, poultry, lamb, pasta, pizza.
RECOMMENDATIONS
