Intense redcurrant and some other red berries spiced with pink pepper, as well as hints of vanilla and mineral notes.
PALATE
Full-bodied with intense flavours, well-integrated tannins and quite a long, refreshing finish with excellent balance and harmony.
VITICULTURE
Grapes from the Monastery estate surrounding the winery. The combination of alluvial calcareous soils and the Mediterranean climatic influence are ideal to grow this indigenous and rare variety. The harvest and selection of this grape is done manually with extra care.
WINEMAKING
Vinification in stainless steel vats and 12 months ageing in new American-oak casks.
FOOD PAIRING
Sausages, cured cheese, pork, veal meat, lamb, chicken, turkey, duck, stews, barbecue meat, jamon.
RECOMMENDATIONS
