GRAPE VARIETIES
Tempranillo, Graciano, Garnacha Tinta, Mazuelo, Viura, Malvasía and Garnacha Blanca.
BOUQUET
Ripe berries with fragrant roses and violets, a hint of spices and vanilla.
PALATE
Balanced and full, rich in nuances, very fruity with perfectly integrated soft tannins.
VITICULTURE
Only indigenous to Rioja varieties are used for this wine. Grapes are hand-harvested in the producers´ vineyards in Rioja Alta and Rioja Oriental and hand-sorted.
WINEMAKING
Four separate vinifications of the seven varieties, with distinct temperatures and maturation times are carried out. The resulting wines are later aged separately for 36 months in different casks types. The final blend is aged during 12 months in French-oak “foudre” vats with a capacity of 10,000 litres.
FOOD PAIRING
Grilled meat, cured cheese, pork, veal meat, stews.
RECOMMENDATIONS
Recommended serving temperature: 17-18°C.
