VITICULTURE
Rioja Vega is the oldest winery in Rioja. The winery's own vineyards cultivate high-quality grapes. A very high planting density is practiced, and low-vigor rootstocks are selected. The aim is to produce as many clusters as possible with smaller berries.
WINEMAKING
Carefully destemmed grapes are used for production. The fruity character is extracted in the initial phase. Subsequently, there is an eight-day alcoholic fermentation and four days of skin maceration. A maximum temperature of 27ºC was reached during this process.
