BOUQUET
The nose is very complex and persistent, highlighting the ripeness of the grape with aromas of black fruit, toasted, roasted coffee, mineral background (tar, charcoal and peat), spices (cinnamon, pepper and some vanilla), red caramel, wood and aromatic herbs (sandalwood and thyme).
PALATE
In the mouth, powerful, tasty, very fruity, full-bodied with noble tannins. Sensations of fresh and stewed black fruit, cocoa, menthol, aromatic herbs, coffee bean, ample and very persistent, which augurs a long life.
VITICULTURE
Cultivated without the addition of mineral fertilisers, herbicides or insecticides. The vineyard is located at 814-840 m above sea level in La Horra (Burgos).
WINEMAKING
Manual harvest in 12kg boxes, selection table. Aged for 18 months in 100% new French oak barrels.
FOOD PAIRING
