Based in the heart of a privileged wine region of Rueda since 1934 in picturesque 15-century cellars, the company owns over 30 hectares of vineyards. The soils consist of gravel, stony clay and limestone, so the roots of the vines are forced to go deeper for nutrition. This rresults in lower yields with more concentrated flavour grapes.
Being aware of the responsibility that we all must have about being concerned of the environment, at Bodegas Félix Sanz they practice a non-aggressive and respectful way of understanding viticulture, and work in favor of biodiversity and thinking about next generations.
The winery cultivates the traditional grapes for the area: Verdejo, Viura and Sauvignon Blanc for white varieties, as well as Tempranillo for red ones.
