It presents fresh notes of ripe plums, cherries, freshly crushed herbs, and a hint of sweet spice.
PALATE
On the palate, it is honeyed with soft, mature tannins, complemented by a slight natural sweetness balanced with fresh acidity and a juicy finish.
VITICULTURE
Old Monastrell vineyards in dry farming at an altitude of 600-800 meters above sea level. Yields are reduced, resulting in grapes with great potential from the start. The grapes are hand-harvested at the end of October, once they begin to overripe on the vines, concentrating sugars and flavors.
WINEMAKING
The grapes undergo a delicate destemming process, after which selected yeasts are added to initiate fermentation. This process takes place in stainless steel tanks, where the temperature is carefully controlled. During fermentation and maceration, the musts are subjected to gentle pump-overs periodically to favor the extraction of aromatic and coloring compounds. Once fermentation is complete, the wine is racked, and the pomace is pressed. In this phase, the overripe grapes release subtle traces of unfermented sugars, contributing to the wine's distinctive dry character. Subsequently, the wine undergoes 3 months of aging in used French and American oak barrels, which adds complexity and elegance without overpowering its fruity profile.
PAIRS WELL WITH
This wine pairs perfectly with dishes such as pork chops and neck, as well as roasted duck and goose, enhancing the flavors of these meats. However, its versatility also allows it to be enjoyed on its own, making it an ideal choice for those moments when you want to savor a good wine without the need for food accompaniment.

Value for money
Very full flavour, and a lot of good quality wine for a reasonable amount of money. I have yet to find a better wine for the price in any supermarked and wine shops. I fully recommend this wine.
