Fragrant and fruity, with an unctuous and creamy mid-palate, great balance and structure.
VITICULTURE

Vines from Alto Najerilla, located at an average altitude of 600 metres. Grapes come from the old vines of more than 35 years old in Badarán and Cárdenas. The influence of the Atlantic Ocean in this climate, with cold winters, warm summers and long and mild autumns, results in slow maturation of the grapes. The soil, which is mainly clay-limestone and clay-ferrous, has a balanced composition, slightly alkaline, rich in organic material, with modest water availability during summer months.

WINEMAKING

The grapes are harvested manually in mid-October at their correct point of maturation, guaranteeing the perfect conditions for making this wine. After the harvest, grapes are macerated slightly, and the must is fermented in new French oak barrels at a controlled temperature of 15ºC to 17ºC for 12 days to extract the aromas to the maximum. After the fermentation, the wine is placed in contact with its fine lees for 6 months, with periodic batonnages, which results in smoothness in the mouth and aromatic complexity.
