PALATE
Powerful in the mouth, lively and very fruity. Very good structure and with a remarkable persistence.
VITICULTURE
A dry and cold winter and a rainy spring with a water deficit was followed by a very dry and hot summer with temperatures over 42ºC for more than 10 consecutive days. All this has resulted in a vintage with a high alcohol content and a high tannic concentration. The result, a characteristic high layer of colour in the wines, less fresh fruit notes than in previous vintages, with more ripe fruit notes standing out on this occasion. These characteristics can be appreciated both in the mouth and on the nose.
WINEMAKING
Classic vinification, 8 days of maceration, 5-6 pumping over a day, malolactic fermentation in tanks. No ageing in order to preserve freshness and fruitiness.
FOOD PAIRING
Recommended with all types of meat and fish. Ideal with salads and as an aperitif.
