PALATE
Elegant and sophisticated. Its velvety texture, combined with an explosion of fruit on the palate, provides great liveliness and a long finish. Perfect harmony with the barrel. Its fermentation on lees and frequent bâtonnage in French oak barrels enhance its balance and breadth.
VITICULTURE
Grapes sourced from “San Nicolás” at Finca Albret from vineyards planted 14 years ago. The soil is sandy and rocky, with good drainage where the sandy clay gravel layer continues down to 14 meters deep until it meets the clays.
WINEMAKING
Hand-harvested. The berries first undergo a semi-freezing process followed by controlled maceration at 8ºC for 30 hours. The must is obtained by gravity bleeding. It then ages in French oak barrels on its lees for two months, being stirred periodically.
