VITICULTURE

The grapes come from vineyards covering over 70 hectares. Rioja Vega is the oldest winery in Rioja and has chosen to prioritize quality criteria, moderate production, and seek smaller grape clusters. It has a complete drip irrigation system that maintains a certain level of water stress.

WINEMAKING

Wine made exclusively from drained grapes prior to pressing. Alcoholic fermentation for 25 days at a maximum of 18ºC. No malolactic fermentation.

PAIRS WELL WITH
Hake, salmon, and other fatty fish, sushi, smoked fish, sea bass, sea bream, sardines, prawns, langoustines, raw shellfish, cooked shellfish, large shellfish, octopus, squid, tuna.
RECOMMENDATIONS
Recommended serving temperature: 5-7°C.
