Elaborated 100% with grapes of the Pinot Noir variety planted in the vineyards that Alta Pavina owns in the Lands of Castile and Leon to 900m. of altitude in predominantly limestone soils with a small clay and sandy content. The collection was manual and after macerating 4 hours with their skins, it was fermented at a temperature of 14ºC until the end of its process.

Red Fuit domination. Field plants such as Rosemary, Basilic and dill. Smoked notes.
PALATE
Easy drinkable Wine because of the expression of the Pinot Noir. Very sweet and tasty. Big acidity notes. Very polished wine, wich makes it even though more pleaseant that force you to keep continue tasting it.
VITICULTURE
This moorland area of calcareous loam soil on the banks of the Duero, offers a continental climate with low rainfall and striking contrasts in temperature.

A strong personality wines need to be born in a special terroir, as its headquarters on the grounds of Pago la Pavina.

The vineyard surrounding Bodegas Alta Pavina has an area of 35 hectares and consists of two grape varieties: Pinot Noir and Cabernet Sauvignon.

WINEMAKING

The excellence that the wines of the Bodega Alta Pavina offer is a consequence of the highest quality of the grape, the rigor of its selection and the extreme care in the production of consolidated wines in the national and international market.
