PALATE
Very tasty in the mouth, powerful and fruity, with ripe tannins.
VITICULTURE
The grapes are cultivated in the high zone, at the altitude of 830-950 m above sea level, on clay-calcareous soil with limestone that results in lower yields and higher flavour intensity. The winemakers don´t use either insecticides or herbicides in the vineyards.
WINEMAKING
The latest oenological techniques to ensure a careful winemaking process are applied. After a classic vinification, with 25 days of maceration, it is aged for 14 months in 70% French and 30% American-oak barrels. The whole process, from grape harvesting to aging and bottling is carried out in the winery´s facilities.
FOOD PAIRING
Recommended with all kinds of meat and roasts. Especially for grilled meats and stews. It is also excellent with cured cheeses.
