The wine is made at a very modern bodega but with 125 years of experience which really shines through in this wine.

BOUQUET
Classic Rioja with lots of black and red fruits and hints of vanilla and spice from the oak all beautifully harmonised.
PALATE
Firm and well textured with finely honed tannins, plenty of black and red fruits and those oak spices. It really fills the mouth with the flavour of where it comes from.
VITICULTURE

Having terroirs with very different characteristics enable they to make a wide variety of wines, each with its particular seal.

They explore terroirs, grape varieties, new blends… Rioja Vega’s vineyards are their fuel to tool to evolve: They awake the curiosity and push them forward into the future.

The foundation for everything they embark upon is set off by Rioja Vega’s different Terroirs. They allow them to explore, study, research, and tirelessly seek new wines with which to stimulate the curiosity.

WINEMAKING

The current building was founded in 2002 with the purpose of preserving the tradition of the original cellar raised in Haro back in 1882.

In other words, to honour Rioja by making wines of the highest quality possible. Rioja Vega’s current facilities are equipped with the most sophisticated technology which is wisely combined with the traditional Rioja winemaking approach.

This ideal blend, together with their growing experience on the vineyard, guarantee the authenticity of Rioja Vega’s wines.
