Bodegas Marqués de Vizhoja is a family business founded in 1968 by Don Mariano Peláez and currently run by his sons Jorge and Javier Peláez. Located on the banks of the Miño River; on the valley of Condado do Tea in one of the subzones of the D.O. Rías Baixas, its almost 40 hectares of vineyards extend around the Pazo Torre la Moreira, a historic building with defensive character of the eighteenth century that stands among its vineyards as emblem of the winery. The winemaking tradition is combined with innovation and development to achieve excellence in each of the company's products; its wines Marqués de Vizhoja (white wine), Torre La Moreira (D.O. Rías Baixas, 100% albariño) and Señor da Folla Verde (D.O. Rías Baixas; ), liqueurs d ́Vizhoja. Its products are marketed both nationally and internationally; they can currently be found in more than 23 countries.
